What is a Certified Holistic Health Provider?
It is a practitioner who provides natural health services and products that address the whole person – because disease and unexplained fatigue, or consistent health patterns often have several points of origin.
Discovering and healing these underlying points in a holistic way, can change your life.
The goal is to help you feel better, sleep more deeply, become more energized, happier, calmer, and feel more alive. Each tool is designed to address the deeper
causes of illness, to help you avoid potential health problems, and to keep you thriving, consistently.

Her Story
After beginning her career as a Registered Nurse, working in hospitals and with
seriously ill patients, she found herself searching for alternative practitioners for herself
and for her family. She started reaching for things like vitamin C, probiotics, cell salts,
herbs, and minerals, first, rather than common prescription drugs. She found that
sometimes simple solutions can solve problems more quickly and more sustainably. For
instance, sometimes just drinking more water or balancing the salt in your body can
stop certain types of chronic headaches and tiredness; the right dose of magnesium can
help relieve cramps – immediately; a mix of herbs, rinses and vitamins can stop a cold in
its tracks, or prevent one from starting. High quality, meticulously researched natural
products can also be more readily absorbed into the body, work better with the body’s
immune system, and do so with less toxicity. As she learned through her own
experience, Junell began to understand how powerful the body’s own healing ability can
be, even for more serious illness. She began to build her home apothecary as well as
her knowledge of herbal and alternative medicine.
As she experienced the benefits of this new body-and-soul-centered world, Junell
became a Natural Health Ambassador. She enjoyed nursing and felt that she could
provide patients with compassion and peace. It was her patients who inspired her to
continue to learn and to grow her database of knowledge. She wanted to help them and
people like them to avoid needing hospital care, at all. She envisioned a world where
the phrases, “I sleep so well, every night,” and “I didn’t know I could have so much
energy,” became common things her clients would say.
At this point, Junell obtained a Master of Science degree as a Women’s Health Nurse
Practitioner. She left the world of bedside nursing, and joined a new hospital as an
Assistant Nurse Manager of Labor and Delivery. She loved her job and her nursing
colleagues, because she felt like she had found a second family with whom to work, in
addition to her family at home. She could also truly make a difference in patients’ lives.
As the hours grew longer and the job more demanding, however, she realized that she
had to make, yet, another choice so that she could stay powerful at home and in her
marriage, as well as at work. She moved to a job in hospital infection control.
Infection control became a very interesting and conflicting experience as she built her
skills as a natural health practitioner. She started by administering flu shots, but then
COVID hit, and she became pregnant with her son. Her team adjusted their strategy to
protect her and her unborn child, by placing her in an office alone. She spent her days
listening to music, filling out infection control reports and then sending them to the
Department of Health, until her baby decided it was time. Her son entered the world
safely, and she had the opportunity to enjoy the precious time with her new, healthy,
incredible, little boy.
Upon her return to work, the possibility of mandated vaccinations started coming down
the pipeline, and she found herself in the middle of an unwanted controversy. It was
time to take another step toward her dream of The Holistic Concierge.
She added the skills of a Certified Bioenergetic Practitioner while working at a local birth
center, and then became a student of Dr. Tanya , NP, of Fiercely Empowered
Mama, who is also the host of Fiercely Awakening Podcast. Working with Tonya
inspired Junell to join the CNHP program at Trinity School of Natural Health, and she
graduated as a Certified Natural Health Provider in March 2023. This degree gave her
more pride and satisfaction than any degree she had obtained, thus far.
In December of 2023, Junell completed her CHHP program, and opened The Holistic Concierge.
Now, clients can work with her on an individualized plan. She identifies areas of
vulnerability and utilizes her knowledge with both established and cutting edge tools.
She helps you naturally bring vulnerable areas back into balance, to detoxify from this
chemically dense world, and rid yourself of hidden pathogens that could be keeping you
down. She works with you to make the changes in your lifestyle and diet that support
your body and mind as they heal together. Plus, you get to heal where you are most
comfortable, in your own home.
